This project was an exploration into practical design with all aesthetic choices being personally linked to the designer's own interests, while still having the capability to appeal to a broader audience. The goal of this project was to design a calendar that I would personally gain the most use from based on my own interests. After always feeling disappointed when I had missed a meteor shower or an eclipse, I designed this as an aesthetically pleasing reminder. However, the minimalist design and monochromatic color palette would undoubtedly appeal to other astronomical enthusiasts.
